Hello everybody!
This is John Rhodes, your podcast organizer. We are going to have an informal Christmas meeting without a featured speaker. We also probably won't have Jay Rush with sound so I might bring a make-do sound set-up for the meetup. Jay, if you can make it, we will be very pleased if you can. Also all the new members, please consider coming because this is a chance for you to talk and network with the other podcasters...and for the other podcasters who don't come and should be coming, get out of your bedroom podcast set-up and get down here!

Sallie Goetch (Sp.?) I noticed you went to one of poet Clive Matson's get togethers to talk about publishing. Cool! I hope I was the one who turned you on to Clive. He was on my podcast/TV show 4-5 months ago, and I also made a personalized video for him. He had me make 50 DVDs of it.

Podomatic is coming back to feature again. They featured about 3 years ago, They want to talk about new plans for Podomatic, and ask among other things for requests for new features with their services. I was inspired to podcast the night they featured, so maybe if your thinking of starting a podcast, the time is ripe for you. The audio of the meetup is hosted on podomatic, and my two podcasts are hosted there.

If you haven't been attending the time is now to show up. Come on out of the woodwork and have fun.

Hello! This is John Rhodes and I have set the date of the next meetup definitely for June 26th, Thursday, at 7:30pm. We are going to have Seth Harwood speak about novel podcasting, and hopefully we'll have Scott Sigler there too. Both of them have had a lot of success at podcast novels. If you podcast your novel please remember to come to the meeting.

Please...don't just vegetate and not offer new ideas for features. If you know some famous podcaster or podcasting company let's try to get them to speak. If any of you know people at archive.org , try to talk to them, I emailed them a dozen or more times and they just played phone tag. If you know them try to talk with them. I'm sure they'd like to come if they knew how much fun they'd have.

If you are close friends with any other podcasters, please email them and tell them to come.

This podcast meetup is going to have a person from Cable Access SF Comcast named Carter Paige speaking on how to join the TV channel. Basically there is only very minimal cost to be a member, and basic training is cheap too. Otherwise it's free. Their web site is at: http://www.accessf.org . I, John Rhodes, have been running my podcast ( http://mysticbabylon.podomatic.com ) as a TV show through them for almost a half a year.

Please when you come, come with some new ideas on how to keep the meetup running. Jay Rush the sound man thinks that in a few months he'll be able to offer his new extra large living room for the meetup, but we would need to get a donation jar to pay for snacks, beer and wine. Please keep that in mind. Also, please don't just vegetate and not offer new ideas for features. If you know some famous podcaster or podcasting company let's try to get them to speak.
