DESCRIPTION:NYC Podcasting Association\n\nBen (Bendrix) Williams will be sp
 eaking at this month's Meetup (well May 1st but imagine it's April). He wil
 l be talking about something that should interest us all:\n\nUsing Video to
  Expand Your Audience!\n\nThis talk takes a look at the What\, When\, How a
 nd Where of\nvideo and portable media.\n\n- Fun and effective uses.\n- The 
 various media outlets\n- How to engage your audience\n\n\nBendrix graduated
  with a BA (honors) in Advertising Graphics from\nCentral State University.
  He has worked as a digital media specialist\nfor six years at the New York
  office of JWT (formally J. Walter\nThompson)\, the largest and oldest adve
 rtising agency in North America.\nHe has encoded\, edited and delivered dig
 ital media since 2001. Outside\nof JWT\, Ben has directed\, edited\, produc
 ed\, blogged and promoted a\nrange of portable (audio/video) media\, for th
 e past seventeen months.\nHe has been featured in the 2nd edition of the "S
 ecrets of Podcasting\,"\nspoke at both the Portable Media Expo\, and NAB (N
 ational Association of\nBroadcasters).\n\nI highly recommend you attend!  T

  agreed to host our Meetup at their location in midtown Manhattan. The loca
 tion is close to subways\, Penn Station and the Port Authority. I can not t
 hank her enough!\n\nAriel and Bendrix are also members of the NYC Podcastin
 g Association.\n\nAny volunteers who wish to bring refreshments please do s
 o (contact me beforehand if you can so we don't duplicate work). Anyone who
