Details

Frank Edward Nora has been doing his podcast, "The Overnightscape", continually for 5 years... one thing he has never done is a "live" show - until now!! On the fifth anniversary (exactly) of his first episode, Frank will be recording his show at the NYC Podcasting Meetup (which he has been a member of since the very beginning). Frank will talk about his wild ride in the world of podcasting - from the early days full of so much promise, to the current "death" of podcasting and beyond. Frank does 3+ hours of show each week, on top of a full-time job and a punishing commute into NYC from New Jersey for his "day job" in advertising.. The show is a freewheeling monologue about life, candy, conspiracies, mass transit, whiskey, childhood memories, vegetarianism, Walt Disney World, popcorn, pop culture, cigars, Star Wars, video games, history, New York City, New Jersey, and the pleasures, triumphs, and disasters of the human experience (and a whole lot more).

Frank invites everyone to come onto the recording, ask questions, make comments, talk about their own projects, etc. if they want to... or just sit back and enjoy the show. Frank has done nearly 700 hundred episodes of The Overnightscape - over 560 hours - but this one will be unique!! Who knows what will happen?? Come and be a part of the fun!!

BIO:

Frank lives in New Jersey with his very supportive wife, Denice, and their two cats, Mr. Jessie and Mr. Sasha. Even though his show has a loyal audience of several thousand listeners around the world, he hasn't been able to "quit his day job" yet... but who knows what the future might bring!!

Any volunteers who wish to bring refreshments please do so (contact me beforehand if you can so we don't duplicate work). Anyone who wants to help Now is the time.

About Ariel Hyatt & Ariel Publicity

Ariel Publicity was founded 10 years ago, with the mission that all artists deserve to be heard and there is a place for artists of every level to receive exposure. Ariel has managed to place tens of thousands of artists in countless outlets from national magazines and TV to the most grassroots online fanzines. The publicity game has changed radically over the last few years and Ariel Publicity is working hard to offer opportunities to indie artists looking to get exposure by exclusively promoting online.
