“ So far so good. My initial impression based on the podcasters represented and the questions asked was that much of the interest is in 'commercial' podcasting, not strictly hobby podcasting. I'll be curious to see how this shapes up over time (if my impression was incorrect, if the hobby podcasters come out in force, if only the ambitious podcasters will make the effort to meetup, etc.). One other comment is that I just happened to find out about this meetup by chance the day before the event. I dont' know what kind of publicity Tom has done, but we should really try to expand the group by mentioning it on our shows, posting to forums about it, etc. It's about time Chicago podcasters unite. LA Podcasters, Orange County POdcasters, and New England Podcasters all have strong groups. There's no reason Chicago shouldn't. I'll do what I can to help out. ”
