I see the events calender is empty for June. Just wondering if anyone is planning on a meeting in the near future. I would like to meet with some fellow podcasters and share some ideas, tips, etc.

I am looking for ways to improve the audio of our show. I host a show (www.xboxpodcast.com) with two other guys that live in Ohio and Texas so we don't have a professional sound setup. But I really want to learn how we can improve our audio quality. Sometimes, its pretty bad while other times its bearable but still amateurish.

Any thoughts are welcome. Thanks.

Xbox Podcast, eh? I happen to produce the Gamasutra Podcast for GDC Radio. We probably have some interests in common!

Unfortunately, we don't have any immediate plans to get together. That said, perhaps I ought to schedule something just to network. We don't necessarily have to structure things around special events, as we have been doing...

I also have a ping into Shannon Heffernan at Vocalo.org about a roundtable between broadcasters at WBEZ and experienced podcasters. It seems we have more to teach them than we might think.

As far as audio quality, I refer you to a post I put up for another member, Beth. It should get you started.
