Dear Austin Podcasters,

I have been asked by other members to go and schedule the meetup formally, so that members can RSVP. Thus, now the formal scheduling about our meetup this week at the facility of the coworking firm, Conjunctured, in downtown Austin.

Date for the meetup: Thursday, 9 October 2008.

In the effort to have the event in a more "centralized" location close to our members in downtown and South Austin, we are going to have it downtown, at the facility of the coworking firm,

CONJUNCTURED, LLC (in the conference room), located at:
1309 E. 7th Street,
Austin, Texas

which is physically next door to Angie's Restaurant.
Thanks to Dave Walker and the other members of the CONJUNCTURED team for allowing us to use their facility and meet these start-up teams in the coworking community.

The schedule is as follows:

7:00 p.m. - Display of equipment and software and resources for podcasters;
7:30 p.m. - Meeting starts in the conference room
- A word from our hosts: CONJUNCTURED, coworking & startups;
- Summary of the VIRTUAL MEETUP
- Upcoming events for podcasters;
- Social media: events, resources & tools/applications
- Podcast sharing and interchange
- Intro, demo and practical usage of podcaster & social media tools.
- Next meetup: confirm date & time and location or method;
- Planning for 2009: key events & organizer
